The eF Game (eFG) is an individual and collaborative computer-based Serious Game in the field of management education, based on a multiple-choice activity. It is designed and implemented by Margarida Romero and Mireia Usart, from Esade (Spain). The principal objective of this game is to test the level of knowledge in basic finance for post-secondary students. In its present version, players can test their literacy on assets and liabilities both individually and in a team (dyad). Players which better perform in team, win the game.
This Serious Game introduces an awareness widget that permits players to make their level of confidence explicit both for individual and collaborative phases, which can help students be aware of their peers’ confidence and focus on the game task.
Since the game first release in March 2011, it has been tested among 91 students.
Key features:
* Individual and collaborative gaming phases.
* Previous declaration of experience and literacy.
