Adventure (ADVENT) / Colossal Cave Adventure One of the first computer text adventure game (the first one according Guinness World Record), fully text-based. The game features a complex cave system, inspired by Kentucky's Mammoth Cave, filled with puzzles and fantasy elements.

The story behind this game and its many versions is one of the keypoint of the history of videogame. The first version was created in 1975 by William Crowther for his daughters. This version was then deeply improved in 1976 by Don Woods, to remain as the best know version of this game.

It was later converted to many computers platforms, and marketed in 1981 under the name "The Original Adventure".
