Function Machine is an educational game in which the player inserts numbers into the machine. After a short animation of the machine crunching it will return a number. After the first inserted number, the player gets a chance to guess the outcome the machine will return for the next number the player inserts. The player can choose him- or herself which numbers to insert. There are five difficulty levels for different mathematics skill levels.
