Taxonomy

ON Power plant in the old port area. SimPort-MV2 is a multiplayer serious game in which players gain insight into the consequences and effects of choices within long term strategies. Players tackle different aspects of managing complex projects as they are confronted by time pressure and seemingly conflicting interests. Whether the players will be able to stick to their chosen strategies throughout the game is a decisive factor for eventual success.

SimPort-MV2 is a versatile learning tool, which was initially developed for internal use at the Port of Rotterdam. Since then it has proven to be equally as effective for a wide range of interested parties outside op the Port of Rotterdam, both in educational and commercial organisations.

The SimPort-MV2 Learning Experience is available as a workshop or as a user licence.

A SimPort-MV2 workshop is a fullday experience in which the SimPort-MV2 team facilitates the introduction, game session and debriefing for your company's team of participants. We can run these workshops at a location of your choosing, or offer a location offsite for you.

A SimPort-MV2 license offers your team the ability to use the SimPort-MV2 game in your own educational or training programme. As a part of this license we will host train-the-trainer workshops, so that your trainers gain all the necessary knowledge to effectively host their own SimPort-MV2 workshop.
